Justice, Pollard

Mr. and Mrs. Rickter Scott Justice of Meridian, Miss., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Lynn, to Jon Lamar Pollard, son of Ms. Cheryl Smith of Lauderdale, Miss., and the late Mr. Jerry Lamar Pollard of Hattiesburg, Miss.

A family wedding will be held Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the home of the grandmother of the bride in Meridian, officiated by the Rev. Tom Sikes.

Miss Justice is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman D. Justice of Covington, Tex., and Mrs. Madge Glenn and the late Mr. James F. “Buck” Glenn of Meridian.

The bride-elect graduated cum laude with a bachelor of business administration degree from Millsaps College. She is an honors graduate of Lamar High School. While attending Millsaps College, she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority.

Miss Justice is the Vice-President at Rick Justice Automotive.

Mr. Pollard is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. C.T. Pollard of Hattiesburg, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Garland W. “Rusty” Smith, also of Hattiesburg.

The bridegroom-elect attended Meridian Community College and Mississippi State University and went on to receive an applied sciences degree. He is a graduate of Northeast Lauderdale High School.

While attending Mississippi State, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.

Mr. Pollard is the Regional Sales Manager at WTOK-TV and the managing partner of PS & P Properties.

A reception for the family will be held at the home of the bride’s grandmother following the ceremony.
